The Agat Vase is derived from ancient Roman murrine glass, the “agate” technique fuses together different-colored canes (small rods of glass) that are then cased in transparent glass and blown to shape. The process results in the piece having its colors arranged in patterns, which occurs naturally in the hard stone agate. This Vase is white, blue, and sand fused colors.
