Original HANS J WEGNER Bar Cabinet Executed by Axel I Sørensen. 1941.

This is a very very RARE Hans Wagner Tambour Door Bar Cabinet.This was custom made for the government in the 50's. The details are utterly amazing and stunningly simple. Brass fittings, leather straps, hold wine, glass sliding shelves and a drawer with dovetail construction shine on this beauty.

"I drew the sketches for all of the furniture for the City Hall. Of course, I discussed my ideas with Erik Møller, who was responsible for the building and perhaps came up with the ideas. of absence from his education, and moved to Aarhus in 1938. Here he was charged with drawing furniture and interior design, as well as building small scale prototypes for the Aarhus City Hall.
