1950's Eames Evans for Herman Miller DCM Dining Chairs Metal in Walnut Set of Four

Set of 4 Collectors Edition of four DCM chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames. This particular set dates to approximately 1950 and was produced by Evans plywood company (the earliest manufacturer of these chairs). Notable also is that they were specified in Walnut, which contrasts the black metal legs beautifully. These chairs retain their original feet, shock mounts (some may have been replaced during their lifetime), and screws. The walnut panels show very little wear. Their Evans production can be confirmed based primarily on the feet and headrest connection. Only early Evans examples had this round, circular detail connecting the backrest to the frames A set of 4 available in excellent condition!
